Unibanco Points Program: cashback on your account and points to exchange for products and services!
The Unibanco Points Program is one of the benefits that Unibanco credit cards offer. Thus, it helps to make the institution's financial products much more attractive.
There are two programs that work together. Therefore, while one of them allows you to accumulate points to exchange for products or services, another is based on cashback.

Discover how to participate in Millennium BCP Rewards, the program that gives value to your money and helps you save!
So, in the first one you spend money, earn points and choose what to exchange for. In the second, in turn, you receive part of what you spent on the card as cash back.
So, keep reading and see how the programs work and which cards have them. So, find out how to take advantage of these advantages to save!
Unibanco Points Program: accumulate and exchange for services, products and experiences
The first type of Unibanco benefit program refers to the one that allows you to accumulate points through spending. In this case, you can receive 1 point for every Euro spent on the card.
Advantages of the program
In this program you can accumulate points and exchange them for services and goods of a different nature. For example, you can access beauty products, tourism, fashion, leisure and more!
Disadvantages of the program
The program requires the customer to use the points within the same year in which they accumulated them. Therefore, there is a risk that they will expire before you can take advantage of them.
After all, it's possible that you won't accumulate enough points to actually use them for services.
Unibanco Points Program: earn cashback on your credit card
The other type of Unibanco program refers to cashback. If in the past expenses were converted into points to exchange for services and products, here they are transformed into money.
This program offers the possibility of receiving amounts back for 1 year based on your spending on the card. This way, you spend while you save!
Therefore, see below what the proportion is between the monthly invoice and the amounts you receive as cashback in this Unibanco points program:
- Invoice greater than or equal to €500: €20 cashback;
- Between €300 and €499: €10 cashback;
- €100 to €299: €5 cashback.
Advantages of the program
The program allows you to receive money back every month for a year. Therefore, it is a way to get value for your money and save money, as you receive part of your expenses back.
Disadvantages of the program
The program is valid for only 12 months. Therefore, after the first year of using cashback you will no longer receive it. Additionally, there are annual earnings limits: up to €200 during the 12 months of program validity.
Also, be aware that the program has some requirements for participants. Check out what they are:
- The customer must register on the Unibanco app within 2 months of issuing the card to be part of the cashback points program;
- Only those who have not had a UNICRE card issued in the last 24 months can participate in the program;
- Cash advance transfer operations into an account, installment purchases, service payment operations or insurance premiums are not taken into account for scoring purposes.
