To compare NB White or NB Green cards we must know how each one works, positive and negative points. And you can find all of this in today's article. Let’s start, then, with the Novo Banco Verde.

This is a card that works with debit and credit functions and is linked to a NB current account. It has two brands: Visa and Multibanco.

While the first allows purchases in Portugal and around the world, the second is dedicated to authorizing withdrawals in Portugal, at ATMs. Abroad, Multibanco allows cash to be paid in advance.

This card has some insurance and assistance that are part of its package. Likewise, it allows purchases to be paid in installments.

Before we see the highlights of the NB Green card, let's see how the NB White works. It is a credit and debit card, just like the previous one. Likewise, it has two brands: Visa and Multibanco.

Thus, the general functioning is very similar. That is, when it comes to the card's usability and functions, they are basically the same. Therefore, they differ in details, as is the case with the lower TAN and APR that are reserved for the White card.

Disadvantages of the NB Green Card

The NB Green card has a higher APR and TAN than those applicable to the NB White card. Furthermore, it is exclusive to those residing in Portugal. The card also has flaws such as the lack of points and benefits programs, as well as cashback.

Despite having no annual fee, finally, the card charges a membership fee and stamp.

Disadvantages White NB Card

Just like the NB Green card, the NB White also has its negative points. Firstly, it does not have assistance and insurance, unlike its competitor.

Furthermore, it has a higher membership fee, above 50 Euros, despite not charging an annual fee. He also repeats the failure of NB Branco in terms of the lack of points and cashback programs.

NB White or NB Green Card: which one to choose after all?

Still in doubt about which is the best Novo Banco card? In this case, pay attention to the details that differentiate them. After all, they have some common points. Therefore, the best way to choose is by differences.

Firstly, the NB White card has a higher adoption rate, which is a problem. It also does not offer insurance and assistance.

Therefore, if you are looking for protection, this is not the most suitable card. On the other hand, it has lower TAN and APR rates, which can be an advantage for the consumer, depending on what they are looking for in relation to credit cards.

The NB Verde card differentiates itself by having assistance and insurance in its package. Their membership fees are lower, but their TAN and APR fees are higher. Furthermore, only it allows purchases to be paid in fixed installments.

To choose, then, consider what you think is essential in a credit card and what you don't need. Then, compare the costs of each one and thus make a wise choice based on your preferences.

If none of them satisfy you, however, be sure to check out other alternatives on the market. Our suggestion is the NB Gold card! Check below for more information about this card.
