When celebrating this date you need to think about decorations, costumes, food and drinks. There is a list of things to do. But how can you support all this financially?

Well, know that it is possible! With our tips you can have fun and enjoy this date with little expense. Check out how to save and get ready to party!

1 – Agree rules with friends

Firstly, if you are having a party with friends or family, how about including everyone in organizing the festivities?

This way, you can share expenses and tasks. For example, it is possible to determine that each person takes a plate of food and something to drink.

Or, the purchase of the materials necessary for the celebration with subsequent division of expenses. This way, everyone has fun and it doesn't burden anyone financially!

2 – Determine a spending ceiling

Know how much you can spend. If you are going to share expenses with other people, determine a collective ceiling. But, if you are going to cover the expenses yourself or are responsible for a specific one, say how much is available.

This is important because it helps you make good choices and only purchase what you really need. Plus, it prevents you from spending what you can't afford, okay?

2 – Reuse pieces and costumes

Dressing up on Halloween is a really fun way to celebrate the occasion! So, be sure to choose a character to rock the occasion.

When doing so, remember that you don't necessarily need to buy a ready-made costume. A great way to dress up is by reusing other pieces, both from other costumes and everyday clothing.

In fact, there are several characters that can be replicated like this. For example, an Addams Family costume can be made with black clothing items you already have at home.

Plus, there are always the traditional and easy possibilities, like witches, ghosts, vampires and other creatures. In all cases, the secret is one: bet on accessories and makeup. Otherwise, reusing is the best idea!

3 – Prepare food at home

If you're having a party at home or will be attending one where you need to bring a plate of food, consider preparing them yourself. This prevents you from incurring higher expenses from bakeries and pastry shops at this time.

In fact, know that you can give your food a Halloween touch. To do this, use dyes and other tricks. You can find some easy ideas on the internet and replicate them.

Thus, it is possible to replicate blood and other items that are quite traditional for this festival. Also, know that knowing that it was you who did it is economical and rewarding!

4 – Create your own decoration

You can also opt for homemade decoration, which is much cheaper than ready-made. But there are still items that can be purchased.

Give preference to reusable ones, but which also respect a spending ceiling. After all, there is a lot that can be done at home and give the place a special look. You can:

  • Cut out bats, spiders and other Halloween symbols from cardboard or EVA and hang them on strings from the ceiling or stick them to the wall;
  • Use black garbage bags as tablecloths;
  • Spray paint lamps with colors such as purple, red or black and give the room a special look;
  • Hang fabrics and balloons.

6 – Make a shopping list and stick to it

When going shopping, be careful with temptations! After all, there will be no shortage of interesting decoration items and foods to add to the party, available on the market.

However, you don't need them. At this point in the championship you already know how you will shape the Halloween party. Based on this, prepare a shopping list.

This list will contain everything you need to make the food and drinks, as well as the decorations. Resist the temptation and buy only what you need.

7 – Prepare a playlist

There's no way to party without music! So, prepare a playlist to rock your skeleton. You can choose background sounds reminiscent of the time or choose your favorite songs.

Also, know that there are a series of ready-made playlists, on YouTube and Spotify, that can make your celebration even better. Use them to dance, especially with children!

8 – Spread trash cans around the site

How about avoiding a bad service at the end of the party or the next day? Spreading trash cans around the party location helps a lot! This means all guests know exactly where to leave disposable cans, plates and cups.

9 – Make games

How about choosing some games for the party? This makes it more fun and, what's more, it doesn't add a penny to expenses. So it's a cheap and smart way to entertain.

There are typical Halloween games that can be useful. Furthermore, you can invent some with friends or family, as well as recycle others that are not related to the theme.
